We're committed to you: How we're minimizing risk during patient visits

At Jefferson Surgical Clinic, the health and well-being of our patients, employees and community is of the highest importance to us. We are open and here for you, as always.

Our normal office hours remain in effect, but we are limiting the patients we see to adjust to social distancing guidelines. We are also offering virtual visits using your smartphone. This is a simple process where your visit for some conditions can be done from the comfort of your home. The virtual visit begins with a phone call and a link may be provided to you for a video call. Call us at 540-283-6000 to schedule an appointment.

Here are some of the steps we have taken to minimize your risk when you visit our offices:

  • Increased cleaning of our offices, waiting and exam rooms. We are paying close attention to areas that are touched frequently, such as doorknobs.
  • Making hand sanitizer available.
  • Our staff is wearing face coverings and we ask that you do the same.
  • Screenings are in place including temperature checks and questions about symptoms and travel for anyone entering our buildings – all patients, visitors, employees and providers. The questions are following CDC guidelines. Appointments may need to be rescheduled based on our screening criteria.
  • Providing patients with the option to wait in cars rather than in our lobby areas.
  • If you are onsite for an appointment, we kindly request that only the patient enters the building; guests can remain in the comfort of their vehicle.
  • Any Jefferson Surgical Clinic provider or team member who meets any of the CDC exposure guidelines will be required to follow the CDC guidelines for testing and quarantine.
